I have now changed my browser home page from iGoogle to my Symbaloo page.Why?
Quite simply because it is the best organizer I have seen for a complex digital existence.
All of my important bookmarks are visually presented in my home Webmix, and my less important bookmarks are in other Webmixes that are accessible in tabs across the top.
I can also add some superb public Webmixes and buttons.
There are a couple of videos on Symbaloo's home page that speak to it's use as a Personal Learning Network organizer for students and teachers. There is an education version that is also free to educators and that I can access after I speak to one of the representatives from the company (Today... I am giddy with excitement... which reveals that I may not be a very psychologically balanced individual). The education version allows me to set up Webmixes for my classrooms.
